Centennial ROKS (Celebrating 100 years of Kingswood College Scouting) - Commenced
Centennial ROKS (Centennial Rally of Kingswood Scouts), was held at the Kingswood College premises and the vicinity, with the aim of celebrating 100 years of Kingswood College Scouting.
The programme was held from 23rd to 26th October 2014 with the participation of 600+ Boy Scouts and Girl Guides all around the country.
The event was organized by the 2nd Kandy, Kingswood College Scout Troop, Kandy, Sri Lanka.
This was the first ever hike festival organized and conducted by a Scout Troop in the Sri Lankan Scouting history.
The entire programme was structured on following listed core events during the period:
Day 1 - (23 October 2014) - Night Hike (with the participation of boy Scouts)
Day 2 - (24 October 2014) - The Survival Hike (with the participation of boy Scouts)
Day 3 - (25 October 2014) - Water Hike (with the participation of boy Scouts and Girl Guides)
Day 4 - (26 October 2014) - 30th J.J.P. Dehigama Orienteering Competition and the Closing Ceremony (with the participation of boy Scouts and Girl Guides)
