Mongar middle secondary school scouts and Mongar Higher secondary school scouts and students joined the world in observing the international peace day on 21st september,2019.

The day was marked by giving peace talk by youths(scouts), cultural program on theme related to peace and the main event was mass cleaning campaign in and around Mongar town and community.

Total of 688 students from mongar HSS, 177 scouts, 40 youth volunteers and 51 teachers including the scout leaders did the mass cleaning in 5 different areas(Mongar town area, Hospital area, RSTA office area, Dzong area and school areas) from 8am in the morning till 3 pm on 21st september, 2019
