We celebrated the world no tobacco day and to mark that day and make that day a successful one we started with a brief gathering in the school multipurpose hall. During that various guest and agencies like the youth centre, staffs of MRRH and the lam neten from dratsang lhentshog briefed us on the causes and ill effects of cigarette both in terms of scientific as well as from  religious point of view. Then after lunch to further mark the day and play our part to stop tobacco consumption we travelled across our place to uproot the sapling and growth of tobacco plants as if there is no source there wont be any buyers or consumers. About 900 people were gathered to  combat the tobacco consumption and prevent ill effects from tobacco to self as well as the surrounding.
