60 Community Based Scouts (CBS) volunteered to offer their services during the International Conference on Buddhism held in Thimphu from 1 July -3rd July 2016. The Community Based Scouts volunteered for a month. The CBS were involved in all the ground work for the conference. All the management of the event was coordinated by the CBS. The CBS were involved in serving, cleaning, pitching of the tents and all event management works. The three day conference was successful on account of the contributions made by Community Based Scouts. The Community Based Scouts are deeply involved in any voluntary activities undertaken under the banner of Bhutan Scouts Association.
