Since the start of the Messengers of Peace Initiatives in 2011, it is growing very fast among different countries as the National Scout Organizations has put their keen interest in implementing this initiative. In Asia Pacifc Region, the National Scout Organizations have been very active in creating and implementing peace projects and peace action in their communities and have engaged many young people in this initiative. There is also a fast growth in MoP Network as the NSOs are very active in contributing and sharing their project stories in different platform such as the scout.org and social media sites.

With the progress in MoP initiative, there is a demand for a human resource staff that will able to maintain a strong MoP support between the Asia Pacific Support Centre and NSOs to efficiently and effectively implement the projects and programs within the region in order to achieve the goal of Messengers of Peace initiatives.
