On 15 October 2013, Three Eagle Scouts and Members of the Local Executive Board of Misamis Oriental Council, Eastern Mindanao Region, Philippinesvolunteered their time and joined with the Local Executives (LGU) Headed by Hon. Mayor Jaime C. Roa of Naawan Town, Misamis Oriental in inspecting the Campsite for the 2013 Annual Provincial Jamborette and visited a Mountain Barangay (Village) 16.5Km from the town center. The Campsite is an ideal place for Camping and Outdoor activities given its virgin forest and untouched water source rolling down the Lubilan Falls. Plus the 1 hectare lake that mystify the top of the Mountain. Bringing the Scouting activity in the countryside would definitely bring about Community development while creating livelihood opportunities for the locals (Higa-onon Tribe) not to mention also the infrastructure that maybe carried out by the Local Government of the Province and Municipality. Its also the best time to Create PEACE with the natives of the hinterlands and foster a Culture of Collaboration.
