A Cub Scout lead good turn by collecting books for the Buk Bilong Pikinini project. Buk Bilong Pikinini is a project promoting literacy in Papua New Guinea. The MoP project starts by collecting ''gently used'' or new books from Scouting members as part of Gold Boomerang, then extends to local school contributions for the larger MoP project. The donated books will be taken to the High Commission of Papua New Guinea for the Buk Bilong Pikinini coordinator. Service hours will increase as this progresses.
