Review and develop a unique and attractive Youth Programme Package.

Retain the existing Youth Members in the organization. Review and develop an Adult in Scouting policy.

1. As per activity no. 2, the Boy/Girl programme review workshop meeting was held at National Training Centre, Pachmarhi from 06.02.2022 to 13.02.2022. The draft youth programme was sent to all the state associations for suggestions and the matter will be discussed in Programme Committee and Training Committee meeting. After finalization, the programme will also be uploaded to the website.

2. Conducted trainers meet at NTC Pachmarhi from 09th February to 13th February 2022. The Adults in Scouting Policy was finalized, the draft job profile of volunteers at the National and State levels was prepared, and finalized Self Learning Modules of unit leaders’ courses.

3. In the second phase of the project, we targeted to reach out and integrate 75,000 new young people and create the capacity to sustain and support new members' growth. So far, we reached around 69,000 young people and are able to train 6455 nos. new adult in the Beginners’ course.

4. We also created new resource materials for the Growth Campaign like posters, banners, canopy, broachers, etc.

5. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most Schools and Colleges are still closed. No physical activities are happening in the institutions. The project aims to address the existing member Scouts' needs to retain them to complete the Scouting Advancement Cycle and other Scouting activities. Hence, we started virtual progressive training for the Cubs, Scouts, and Rovers with the help of professionals and volunteers. We are expecting the registration of new members on OYMS shortly

The impact was 110507 New members to scouting and 183050 members were aware of Scouting and motivated to join scouting.
When the young people are engaged with interesting activities based on the area which they like and activities are attractive then we can see that they are retained in the movement and also they express their happiness to other non-scout members which will motivate them and make them join scouting.
