BRUNEI Darussalam Scouts Association hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration to bring together scouts from the four districts.

The celebration took place at the multipurpose hall of the headquarters of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association in Jalan Gadong. It was combined together with Brunei-Muara District Scout Association, Tutong District Scout Association, Belait District Scout Association, Temburong District Scout Association and Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association Headquarters Office.

The celebration was based on the concept of stalls according to the favourite food of each district. It commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat.

President of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association Haji Matusin bin Orang Kaya Sura Haji Tuba was present.

According to Haji Matusin, the annual celebration was to bring together scouts nationwide to foster closer ties.

He also hoped that scout leaders and members will continue to enhance the spirit of teamwork and competitiveness and to be ready to participate in scout activities in assisting community in the national and international levels.

Senior officials of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association and over 200 members were also present.
