Bring life back to power, make blood donation your responsibility

The United Nations declared every 21st of September is "The International Day of Peace".

To celeberate peace Brainworks Scouts decide to organize blood donation. We desire to help

others by a sense of moral duty and take social responsibility. We have adopted the slogan

“Bring life back to power, Make blood donation your Responsibility”.

The Brainworks Scout volunteer teachers participated in the blood donation camp and

donated blood with the support of National Blood bank, Yangon on 21st September 2019,

twenty volunteers donated the blood for the first time.

As a Scout volunteer, as messengers of peace by donating blood it gave

us  personal satisfaction, self-esteem and pride, which provides a sense

of social engagement and belonging that is recognized and valued by the community.

Our Head of the schools motivated us to stay healthy and build stamina for donating blood.

By this blood donation we were able to save 40 peoples life as each one of us have donated

400  to 500 cc of blood.  A lot of students and their parents wanted to be a part of this

noble cause, hence we decided to do this blood donation event as an life time project for

       the Brainworks – TOTAL family.

We agreed to be a active blood donor and be a responsible citizen and spread peace as

humanity is the only religion in the world. If you donate only money you give food, but if you

donate blood you give life. We take promise to promote peace and create a positive change

about blood donation in our community.
