This campaign was initiated by a group of Scouts after the Interamerican Leadership Training in 2013. The objective of Books For All is to collect books for underprivileged people to support and provide them access to quality reading and access to local libraries in their communities. Local Scouts and Scout leaders are invited to organise field campaigns to collect books, and build or provide resources to local libraries. Your Books For All campaign can also include other activities such as literacy workshops, and reading sessions. Thus far, the Books For All campaign is active in the Interamerican Region and Asia Pacific (in Prabuhi, Indonesia). Your Scout group can also join the effort and promote community development through this campaign.
