We live in a world where man's endless greed for wealth and power have blinded him of his true purpose. Man is the creator of bloodshed and the power-hungry predator of innocent lives that desperately cling to the hope that runs in their veins. I , and the fellow scouts of my school , shed light upon our oath and promise on the 21st of february when we engaged in the meritorious act of helping out in a blood donation campaign. It is our belief that each and every human being has a role to play in the betterment of this world and through our simple act we hope that we lived up our prestigious role as scouts of Sri Lanka
