Blood donation camp 2021
I saw a person in the nearby hospital who was in a critical condition due to low amount of blood available in the hospital. This made me very sad and I decided to take part in activities that can help people to get blood on time and lives can be saved.
There were 15 team members and we all firstly distributed the pamphlet and also posted on social media regarding the camp. This made people aware for the camp. We also stated that there will distribution of gifts whosoever will donate blood and this increased the number of donaters. Then we distributed ourselves in two teams one to handle all the operational activities and one to take care of people. The camp was conducted successfully.
The impact was very good as the people became aware regarding the need of blood in the hospitals. They got to know the deficiency in the blood at hospitals as we gave a speech there. After donating blood, people were happy and the hospital in chargers appreciated us for our work.
I learnt that teamwork is very important and everyone should take a step ahead to such great projects that can help people in a great way.
