Better World Framework Awareness amongst Rovers - Pakistan

Better World Framework Integration Camp organized at National Headquarters, Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, Islamabad from 16 to 22 November 2019. About 235 Scouts from all over Pakistan participated in this camp.

 

The main purpose was to provide a platform to the Rovers and inspire the youth towards Scouting and let them understand the core values of BWF and its implementation. In this regard, Better World Framework Awareness national Integration Camp and National Pioneering Project Camp were successfully organized at National Headquarters, PBSA, Islamabad. National Commissioner Integration, PBSA was the Chief Guests on the Opening Ceremony. 235 Young scouts and leaders attended this Camp. 35 Adult Leaders from the Provincial Branch Associations were there to support the National Headquarters to run the program successfully. It was a kind of huge gathering where more than 500 Non-Scouts visited the BWF activities. The camp was closed with the words from worthy Chief Commissioner, Mr. Sarfraz Qamar Daha, who supported the organizing team all the time and with his keen interest both the camps organized successfully.

 

One of the focus areas of this project to train the trainers (Scout Leaders), and they were assigned tasks to accomplish activities at their respective unit domain level.

 

The major activity observed in the Integration camp that an environment walk was arranged and a whole day was dedicated to World Scout Environment Program where they get the awareness and sapling the plants at NHQ, PBSA, Islamabad. With a clean and green Pakistan slogan, awareness was provided to the local public at the most visited places in Islamabad.

 

This camp fully equipped Scouts, to become an active global citizen, contribute towards the Scout promise to make this world a better place.
