Bengali New Year Celebration 1428 (13th Hussars)

I was motivated to take part in this project because the programme had a good cultural and hereditary value and during the Covid 19 pandemic, when everyone was exhausted seating at home idol, it gave us some recreation, refreshment and improved our mental health and filled our hearts with joy and hope of betterment.

This project was executed on online platforms as a virtual program "Bengali New Year Celebration 1428". We organized a virtual program through zoom and on Facebook live. The scouts participated by flaunting their singing, dancing, recitation, jokes, and memes, etc. skills by gathering the clips of their performances beforehand and later on premiering them on the live program. Besides, some perform directly on the live platform.

This project had a great impact on our mental health. During the pandemic of COVID 19 when every one of us lost our hopes to live a healthy and happy life, were devastated by the heartbreaking condition of the whole world, listening to bad news from our near and dear ones, this program gave us some happiness and for at least some moments there were smiles on each of our faces. We were laughing and enjoying the moment.

From this project and the idea of the project, I learned that no matter how hard it is we should always find a way to go on forward, find ways to be happy, and make people around us happy. Share good moments and practice our heritage and culture because this is the root of our existance as a civilaization.
