A rich heart does not need to be rich. He needs to be kind and compassionate. Yebilaptsa Scout started to identify disadvantaged students from all walks of life trying to survive barely with a cloth change in the mid of the year 2017. To our astonishment, we could list not less than 80 students who definitely needs a helping hand. To solve that issue, a WeChat group was created on 3/2/2018 aiming to help those disadvantaged students those who couldn't manage the basic necessities like warm clothes, stationery, and sanitary pads.
78 leading members worked tirelessly and gathered clothes and other important items ready to be donated to the students. The collection, transportation, and management were all carried out by the group members. They were civil servants, shopkeepers, normal peoples and concerned citizens who wish to make a change in somebody's life.
The group could not only help the disadvantaged students of Yebilaptsa Central School but also the students of several feeder schools of Zhemgang Dzongkhag and the parents of the students.
