#Beat Plastic Pollution Campaign was held at udupi on 15 september 2018. The scouts and guides of udupi district participated in this campaign to ban the use of plastic. We Scouts and Guides visited different shops in udupi and checked the cleanliness and condusted a survey of how much plastic is used and wastes thrown around. We cleaned the places where the wastes were thrown . After this we talked with the shopkeepers customers and people around about the pollution done by throwing wastes and plastics around and he prevention measures . We also suggested them to use paper and cloth bags instead of plastics , to throw plastics and wastes in dustbins , and we stuck some posters around near the shops that the customers visiting shops must bring their own plastics and throw dust in the dustbin..... this was all about the campaign .
