The Basic Courses in Water Sports for Rovers of the State were organized by The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports at Regional Water Sports Centre, Pong Dam, District Kangra. A total of 30 Rover Participants from 13 Colleges undertook the course under the leadership of Mr. Rohit Thakur from State Headquarters. The purpose of the course is to enable the Rovers of HP to learn the basics of water sports which they can take up as a career and earn livelihood from the field they love (adventure).
