The Basic Course in Water Sports, this time for Rangers of the State, was organized by The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports at Regional Water Sports Centre, Pong Dam, District Kangra. A total of 17 Ranger Participants from 6 Colleges undertook the course under the leadership of Ms. SAPRIHA KANWAR from State Headquarters. The purpose of the course is to enable the Rangers of HP to learn the basics of water sports so that they are no more afraid of playing with water and also they can take up Water Sports as a career and earn livelihood from the field they love (adventure).
