Ballajura Scout Group - Cubs raised money by doing odd jobs for their families to raise $10-15. They then planned a shopping list of items to buy to put together christmas gifts for a local department stores Christmas appeal, the Kmart Wishing Tree. As a pack we went to the shops to purchase the gifts, looked at what everyone had bought and packed them up. We then delivered them back to the store's Christmas Tree. As a pack we talked about how it felt to give back to children less fortunate and the cubs demonstrated a lot of thought and empathy when choosing their items for the gifts.
