AWARNESS PROGRAM FOR SUCIDE PREVENTION
We the Himalay Rover Ranger Crew from Nepal,Jhapa,Damak cordinated with local authorities and other officials to organize a provience level mega awarness rally, Our society is heading towards a dark future specially teenagers, sucide rate is increasing day by day due to the lack of motivation and positive education, with all of the things going around we could not stand and do nothing! So we decided to take action and tried to help in any way we can and hoped it will help to ease the situation.
The group of different organizations lead by the scouts and Rover Rangers from different unit and troops walked with the play card and and slogans all around the city educating the locals about the topic,The program was successful becouse of the undying spirit of the rovers and rangers from the crew and the different organizations that supported and gave the opportunity to us, specially Municipality and Nepal police, when we published the notice Scout around the city immediately joined us!
As we walked around the town with the different organizations all eyes were on us and our play cards everyone was listing to our words, many local joined us at the spot when we arrived at our destination we all gathered up in a hall where manay iconic figures deliverd their speech ideas and data, with all of this more then 1000 peoples learned and were aware about the situation we are facing.
After successfully conducting the project,I learned that if we come up with a positive and impactful ideas everyone will support it and what we have visioned and planed can be successful, taking the frist step leads to a successful journey.
