A day long advocacy program on reinforcement of plastic ban (ban on carry bags, domawrappers, home made ice cream pouches) by Y-VIA members of Drukgyel CS was a huge success as we could create general awareness about plastic ban and its penalties for non compliance. 20 Y-VIAs led by Mrs. Dawa Zangmo, Y-VIA focal person met with hundreds of Shopkeepers, vegetable vendors, and residents of Drukgyel and Lango town . We would like to thank everyone for lending your ears and your promises to support this nationwide ban. The program is in collaboration with Paro Dzongkhag administration and ParoYouthCentre.Thank you all YVIAs for your job well done.
