ENLIGHTENING THE COMMUNITY PEOPLE ON COVID-19.

-Connecting people with TRUE information.

3-5th April,  2020- The scout leaders of Monmola PS with volunteer Nazhoen scouts organized three days advocacy programme on COVID-19 to the people of Monmola,  Serthi,  Barkalangnang and Tashi Thangjay community. This was mainly organized to help people understand more on COVID -19 and practice the preventive and precautionary measures. The foremost points disseminated to them are as mentioned below :

1. Shared the concerns of our King and the Government on this pandemic disease. 

2. Shared the initiatives undertaken by the Government in fighting against and combating COVID -19.

3. Shared the various precautionary and preventive measures each and every one of us have to adopt.

4. Demonstrated and practised handwashing techniques and reminded to wash the hands frequently.

5..Demonstrated on the proper use of masks.

6. Distributed copies of Sangay Menlha and Cherinzig prayers composed by H.H Jekhenpo for the people to recite.

7. Distributed a Jerry can and soap each to the elderly and deprived people.

8.Reminded to strictly  adhere to the Government's order  on preventive measures  and not to believe or spread false news/messages.
