ASA ( Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan) participated at the International Scout Jamboree in Kazakhstan Kazakhstan hosted international Scout Jamboree. About six hundred participants from 15 countries came to Burabay district of Akmola region. It is worth noting that the international Scout Jamboree, which started its history more than a century ago, is held every four years. According to the organizers, many scouts took a lot from the nomads with a millennial history. For example, cooking, the ability to survive in extreme conditions. ASA also showed the custom and traditions of Azerbaijan during a week - national costumes, national musical instruments, presentations and national music, booklets and books, elements of national food (sweets, etc.). 35 scouts from Azerbaijan participated at Jamboree. Children got new friends and acquaintance and improved their invaluable skills, such as : - horse riding ,ancient nomadic hunting with "Berkutchi" , cooking and tasting of the traditional Kazakh dishes , installation and accommodation in yurts ,studying of the national Kazakh games and crafts , acquaintance with customs and traditions of the nomads ,swimming in the Lake Big Chebachye , ascent of the mount Siniukha, passage of extreme obstacle course , acquaintance with the ancient legends of the resort zone Borovoye",Astana city tour - "the Heart of the Eurasia" and other activities were carried out.
