ArrowPower2014

ArrowPower2014 will take place August 17-23, 2014, along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and the Ice Age Trail of Wisconsin. The event is being hosted by the Order of the Arrow leadership of sections C-1A, C-1B, and C-3A, through a partnership with the National Park Service and the Ice Age Trail Alliance. ArrowPower2014 is open to all registered members of the BSA who are 14 or older and who meet the basic requirements for high adventure. Progress continues to be made in the planning stages for this great event. The base camp will be at Phillips Scout Reservation in Haugen, WI and the cost for the event will be $225. This is a great opportunity to leave your mark on a national park, with projects such as improving campsites and landings along the river, boundary marking, invasive species removal, and making improvements to the area trails in the St. Croix Riverway and the Ice Age Trail network. In exchange for your great service, a full day of recreation will also be available. Day-long recreation events include hiking, canoeing and kayaking, mountain bike riding, Hayward museums and zoo, and more! All recreation cost is included, with the exception of a trip to the Wisconsin Dells waterpark, which would include a nominal fee to cover the bus. Transportation airport shuttle details will be out in early June for those using commercial flights.
