Gakiling gewog under haa dzongkhag conducted a local festival on 8th January.

The festival was initiated 2 years ago to bring the peace and prosperity in the community. On that day, officials of the dzongkhag and the people of the gewog came together to organize and witness the event.

The festival helped people to develop social skill and to preserve and promote the tradition.

More than thousand people came together to celebrate the day.
