No fewer than 140 Scouts were at Messengers of Peace Awareness Programs at St. Francis Catholic Church at Nebo, Awka, the Capital City of Anambra State. The Scouts defined " Nearness to God, Holiness, Good Turns, Harmony, Unity as part of what Messengers of Peace stands for. At the Church Service, the MoP Trainer used the opportunity to Address the Church on the gains of Messengers of Peace prgrams and at the end of the Awareness talk, The Priest of the Church Rev, Father Timothy Nwoke was presented with the Certificate of Messengers of Peace and the Messengers of Peace Scarf. At the end of the meeting, the Rev. Father used the opportunity to take several MoP Photographs with the Scouts , while we prayed for the success of the program in Nigeria.
