It was decided to offer the helping hands for Elders and offer food for them. So, the project was held at Nawalapitiya, Sembrock Elders home. There were 16 elders who do not have help from their children. As Nawalapitiya Oxford College Scouts, we got together to help them as no starvation. The Principal of the college, Mrs. S. Z. Azmy, Scout Master Mr. M. M. Kapila Priyankara (MoP Coordinator), Cub Scout Mistress Ms. Sachini Dulagi and Sigithi Scout Mistress Ms. B Rangini were the leaders who leaded to project work. All together  there were approximately 40 members to carry out the project work including parents. It was a successuful project work to help them on the day.
