AID AND SERVICE FOR FLOOD VICTIM AT EAST COAST MALAYSIA By H Petaling Rover Crew

During the ending of 2014, East Coast of Malaysia was hit by Flooding and more than 100,000 people were evacuated from homes to near by Relief Centres and Relief Areas. Our Rovers and a few Scouter's gathered some collections and contributed to aid the flood victim,. Headed by our Rovers, the team packed the donated items in kind into boxes and sent them to Maha Vihara Buddhist Temple one of the Relief centres that's located in the City Centre to help with the collection and distribution of Aid for the Flood Victims in East Coast. This time a group of Senior Scouts join the crew to give a helping hand at the Relief Centre where they loaded the Aid Items into the lorry and 4x4 pick up trucks that were heading to ground zero to aid the the flood victims. We did not only deliver the Aid, we provided our service at the Relief Centre as well. Together as a team we say "We Can". Rovering and Scouting to Unite Peace.
