AN AGENT OF SAVING LIFE
The road connection between the Joenkhar community and Phongmey gewog has been greatly damaged by the monsoon rain and the erosion caused by it. That lead to a great problem to all community people including the students who came from Shokang, a community in Phongmey. Thus we the Joenkhar School family including teachers, cooks, caretaker and the students made a contribution in clearing the road.
we carried spades and clovers and made a transportation possible.
It was done and worked between the Joenkhar community Phongmay gewog for 20 hours. All scouts including teachers and bigger students were involved and we were divided into three teams. Our team worked along the road digging all the mud and threw the stones which had blocked the way.
It benefited the entire community including thousands of travelers from Sakteng with safe. Moreover, it helped the students from Shokang to travel safely to school.
Team cooperation and unity and do great things. Even a big boulder had to give up and roll down when unity of us stands.
