Camp Report 2019

Nachung scouts of Kanglung Primary school along with 25 Rover scouts provided themselves with a memorable experience during the last weekend camp i.e 12th and 13th October. The main motive behind conducting such camp was to take young people to the frontier where nature and civilization meets and to learn about both. They were left with forest and their fellow scout mates separating them from everyday life and distractions helping themselves to improve their key skills, including social skill, team work ability, confidence and building good relationships and long lasting friendships.

The camp exposed the campers with a verity of activities including adventurous hike, cooking competition, talent show, blind trail, ladder rope, experience sharing, and camp fire and so on. These activities help to strengthen team work and physical and personal accomplishment like physical, mental and spiritual development to play constructive role in the society. Students were filled with zeal and energy during the camp successfully completing all the activities.

The campaign was successful and the campers added memories to cherish forever in their life.

I on behalf of Nachung scouts would like to thank the school administration for approving our proposal and rendering necessary supports. We would like to thank all our teachers and supporting staff for supporting us with cash and refreshments. Lastly, we the scout’s of Kanglung Primary school would like to thank the President of college for giving us vehicle for transportation and allowing the rover scouts to help and guide us.
