On September 22, 2012 members of Pack 232 (l to r Lane, Geraint, Greilen and Darron) joined with the Texas State Aquarium and approximately 500 volunteers and cleaned up 11,750 pounds of trash off the nine mile North Beach area. After the clean up each volunteer was allowed to visit the Aquarium for the remainder of the day, received an Adopt A Beach patch, enjoyed pizza and giveaways all provided by the Texas State Aquarium and the Texas General Land Office as a token of appreciation for helping keep our beaches clear of debris. I am so proud and thankful for all of our boys and energetic family members that continue to help make an impact in our community.
