An act of kindness: The Winter Project

The winter project was one of the longest projects we have done so far. It lasted for 2 whole months. While the chill of winter falls on the poor distressed, scouts made sure they wrapped a blanket of kindness over them. Many people were benefitted from this simple yet meaningful project. Scouts and Red-crescents shook hands to help the helpless people.
The execution process was very long. We planned the execution for weeks and weeks. We made online projects so other people know about it and took donations from the interested ones. We collected sweaters and jackets from them and also lotions and vaselines. We gave out these products and clothings to the helpless.
Many people were benefitted from this project. We know that in the chilly winter, many people end up dying because of the lack of clothes that are supposed to keep them warm in the dangerous winter. They suffer a lot and when the red crescents and scouts gave those clothings out, it was like a light of hope for them. Both them and us, learned alot from this project.
We learned about the life of the distressed people and how to help them out of it. We also learned about organizing long-term projects.
