Aaron's Good Deeds
Came back to volunteer at PAWS Animal Welfare Society this weekend with my family and was joined up with few other volunteers ,but on this day, there were a bit more volunteers than the usual weekend which was very good and helpful because the more the volunteers the more things gets to be done here(e.g walk the dogs, bathe the dogs, spending time with the abandoned pets there). The dogs, I walked and spent time with on this day were a little bit special compared to my usual visits.Today's visit, I focused my time mainly on the senior dogs and those dogs that have not been walked and in contact with humans for a very long time because by doing that I believe that it will give them the strength, courage and hope they need here until they get adopted and have found their forever home. However, the dogs that were not walked and were not in contact with humans for a long time, even though they were once loved before, abandoned strays or abused dogs, they were still high in spirit and was very thrilled and excited to see me when I brought them out for walks and spent time playing with them despite the hard times they had to go through because of us humans. This was something really motivating and eye opening for me because even though their hope were small, they had never given up on hope. On this visit, I have walked the dogs, fed them treats, and also spent time with them spoiling them with much love, however not much dogs were bathed on this visit because most of them had just recently been vaccinated with monthly heart guard.
