80 KM Expedition
Back on 18th October of 2019, I still remember the most exquisite camp I need to attend for me to be eligible for the Teen Scout Lanyard Award (Rambu Pengakap Remaja). This camp was the toughest camp I ever attend because we have to finish our 80 KM expedition in 4 days and 3 night. We wake up at 6 AM during this period time and started our expedition around 7:30 AM. Surprisingly we finish walking around 10 PM. Here is the distance we walk during this expedition :

I would like to share some experience during our expedition, first off since we are walking in patrol which is 10 members in a patrol, we had experience receiving food from strangers. They also support us to keep going and wish us some supportive words even though we are having injuries, especially on a leg. They also shared with us some food such as ice cream during the afternoon, that such as relief. Not forget our leaders and Rover scout team that keep supporting us on our way to the top centre. They also provide emergency service if any teen scout facing illness during walking. We also hold our stick for your information in 80 KM because the stick can be used for support as a weapon if an unforeseen situation happens in our journey.
We were given some mission to complete during our ways such as the junction names or the building beside the mosque and we stated it in our expedition log book for our leaders reference to evaluate us to The Teen Scout Lanyard award. I still remember when I have to finish the expedition and we have to do our logbook for marking with tired eyes and tired body. But that's not a reason that hindering me to get the gold.
Also, the weather change frequently because we walk in the forest area so the temperature is averagely around 24°C to 36°C which is a challenge for us internally. Since I am the vice leader in the Patrol, I will let them rest for a while if they are almost faint. Our leader is a tough guy so he can carry any backpack of the exhausted member.
Last, from me, this expedition gave a huge effect on me in the aspect of health and mental because our mental and mindset have to always in positive condition so that we can finish this 80 KM walk. I become much positive and strong mentally also physically.
