The 5th World Scouts Trash The Trash Day 2019 was held on May 4th 2019.  For this 5th world trash clean up event we had 662 Scout Groups sign up to participate.  Scouts from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia participated.  In total we had Scout groups from 42 countries and 49 states in the United States.  Of the 662 Scout groups that signed up to participate 30% of those reported back on their Scouts Trash The Trash Day event results.  For the  199 Scout units that reported their results we had.  3928 Scouts Participate, 1986 other volunteers participate, 6955 hours of service were recorded, with 3700 bags of trash picked up
