This 500 mangrove trees planting project was initiated by Scouts of The World Voluntary Service Team, Penang, in-conjunction with World Wetlands Day which celebrate 2nd of February every years. Funding for this project was raised by Scout of The World Voluntary Service Team, Penang and sponsored by Penang State Government. Also with cooperative with Penang Inshore Fishermen Welfare Association. Total 150 Scouts include public had participate in this meaningful event. Total 500 Trees had been recorded on a single day planting projects.
