4 O'Clock na Dengue Out

Last August 16, 2019 Pasay City West High School joins the Metro wide 4 o’ clock clean up drive against Dengue, a program of Department of Health and collaborated with National Disaster Risk Reduction Council and Department of Education. Boy Scouts of the Philippines of Pasay City West High School joined the said event headed by Sctr. Hector P. Villareal,  Sctr. John Francis L. Octaviano and Sctr. Gener E. Eugenio Jr.

 

The said activity has been a habit done by the scouts and volunteers, ensuring the sanitation, and well being of the students are takenb cared of

 

 

 

Dengue is said to be a vector borne disease carried by mosquitos Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus. No known vaccine or specific antibiotics could address dengue. According to the recent report, there are more than 130, 000 cases across the country and 540 incidences of death.
