PRABUHI as Reading Volunteer Scout Community was invited to promote our programs in a Camp of 1400 scouts and rovers from Islamic Boarding Schools in West Java Province, Indonesia. The Camp's committee provided us with a tent for our activities in the Camp. So, we started decorate it with banners as exhibitions of our programs. We call these promotion, mini workshops and exhibition as #Prabuhi4Peace Project. The concept is combining Prabuhi's Workshop with Introducing Messengers of Peace Initiatives. So we started the session with friendly ice breaking and ALELE to directly drive the participants to know the MoP Initiatives, a 5 minis of "Telling Stories" session afterward. Then we show Life Vest Movie, and conduct a short group discussion about the movie. Afterward, we asked them to identify their "situations/issues I want to change in my own neighborhood", and put them in the root of Prabuhi's Tree Drawing. Then we facilitate them to create or match Prabuhi's Programs that can be used to solved the problems in the root. Those ideas were put in the trunk area. Then we asked them to write down their hope and goals in the branches. These activities will last 20 mins, then we conduct a Q&A sessions about MoP and Prabuhi. If they feel want to be Prabuhis or MoP, we asked them to put their #1st idea of volunteering as their first project or first servoce hour. after that we help them registered their name in our platform: www.scout.org. 1st day, we only had 80 scouts came, and 15 of them registered in the platform, the 2nd day also 80 persons. But the 3rd and 4th days, committee gave us 2 sessions in the morning and in the afternoon. So they were 480 participants in our #Prabuhi4Peace Project. The participants and us were agree in choosing the best ending for the sessions: MoP Dance togather! ;)
