The district where scouting started in Malaysia, held their annual general meeting with 18 lay members and 14 ex officio members attended on the United Nations International Youth Day. An election of executive committee was also held to see incumbent chair continued to lead the district. The AGM also established the District Rover Scout Council, the first district to do so in the state of Penang. A total of eight resolutions tabled and passed.
