2ASM- Vaal Cruising Association Maintenance
As part of the offsite adventures at the 2nd Africa Scout Moot, every group participated in community service close to their adventure locations. This maintenance was requested by the at the Vaal Cruising Association to improve safety and prevent rust to various pieces of outdoor furniture at the launch location for the rowing adventure
The project was identified by the activity planning team and the Vaal Cruising Association. Materials and equipment were supplied by VCA, while painting was done by the participants of the Inyanga Rowing path
This project was a new partnership for Scouts South Africa - working with VCA for the first time and demonstrating our value in providing community service
