The 27th National Road Safety Week 2016 was observed by many District Associations of Odisha State from 11th of January (Monday) to the 17th of January (Sunday). More than 400 Scouts & Guides from different districts have participated in the Road Safety Week Observation in their locality. Road safety leaflets were distributed to the travelers on the road by our Scouts & Guides. Mass Awareness Rally on “Road Safety” was also organized in the locality to encourage the use of helmets & also to aware the people about the speed limit of the vehicles to prevent road accidents. Road safety quiz competitions were also organized to promote about road safety. Our Scouts & Guides as Commuters have also explained to the General Public about the Methods and Necessities of the Road Safety means they must understand the use of helmets or seat belts while driving on the road or anywhere.
