2021 Earth Hour Taichung

This event was held on the evening of 3/27/2021, and about 80 partners from various groups came to participate.

Cooperate with the World Scout Movement (WOSM) and the United Nations, and organize the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) partnership to promote the participation of the Scouting Scouts in sustainable development with the lights off for one hour (Earth Hour).

Earth hour introduction: "Global thinking, local action" uses the opportunity of simultaneous activities around the world to let people understand the impact of the global ecological environment and think about local actions, rather than just turning off the lights to reduce carbon emissions by one hour. "Earth hour" is the world's largest grassroots campaign for environmental protection. It has attracted millions of people around the world to take action and have a positive impact on the environment. It started in a symbolic way, that is, by turning off the lights to show support for the earth. We let people know more about environmental knowledge and promote the sustainable development goals of SDGs by scavenger hunt. People gather happily in that hour. We also provide different activities that can be carried out in the dark, understanding that light is not necessary. Through this event, we can deepen our awareness of sustainable development of the environment and protect our homeland together.
