2018 National Scout Youth Forum

2018 National Scout Youth Forum

From the 4th to 6th of May 2018, I participated in the 2018 National Scout Youth Forum. I represented PPM KLMIPGM alongside 20 other representatives of the other states. I was one of the four panelists that talked on the WOSM's 'Keeping Scouts Safe From Harm' policy. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely use what I have learnt to give back to the community.

Throughout the forum, not only was I given the chance to represent my state, but I also got a chance to exchange opinions with all the other state representatives regarding peace and how Scouts can be better messengers of peace. Moreover, during my panel discussion on 'Keeping Scouts Safe Ferom Harm', I emphasised how important it was to ensure safety is prioritised as Scouts need to be safe in whatever activities they are embarking on, such as spreading the message of peace worldwide and nationwide. Overall, it was an eye-opener for me as I got the chance to discuss regarding the spreading of peace with other state representatives.
