Our Cub Pack have chosen to participate in the Barnardos Australia Christmas Appeal. We had a program night where the Cubs hand made gift cards for their gifts and we learnt about Barnardos and the great work they do in the community for kids. We followed on from this with Sam from Barnardos coming out to do a presentation to the Cubs adding additional information as to what they do and how our gifts will be distribiuted. The Cubs were joined that night by some of the Scouts and wrapped their gifts up, added their hand made cards and presented them to Sam. We have agreed that this will be an ongoing yearly Community Service.
