Willard beach in ballito . The cubs and scouts had to bring, bin bags, gloves and there positive energy on a Saturday morning.
It benefited the troop as they identified common items that were found on the shore such as earbuds, straws, bottle caps etc. A brief talk by the life guard explaining the flag colors, what to do in the event of an emergency. Lastly the underwater creatures; it reduced a few more non-recyclable items making its way back into the ocean.
Working as a team you can cover a bigger area. Start a bit early as it got a bit hot and the kiddies very tired. Include the parents to assist as well.
