December 17 is the most remarkable day to be noted to the Bhutanese citizens. Back in 1907 on this day the first Monarch of Bhutan was Crowned to the Gongsa Ugyen Wangchuck.

On that they all around the country, the national mark it as national day. These year 112th national day is also celebrated at Trashiyangtse. About 900 participants including dancer from about 6 school and one institute had joined to mark the day and also about1000 people from town and near by village join to witness the celebration.

We also joined at that day joining marching the parade and helping crowd control.
