To create public awareness on waste management and environmental concerns
To support this action, Calauag East District Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), in partnership with Bull Riders Club (BRC) Calauag instigate a Clean-Up Drive at the seashore of Brgy. Sabang Uno, Calauag, Quezon. In this matter, innocent marine creatures will be protected from being entangled in plastics or ingest deadly debris. This activity will also help to create public awareness on waste management and environmental concerns.
BRC President, Mr. Rogel F. Magsino, Ed. D. oriented the participants with the flow of activities to be done in the duration of the coastal clean-up. The program was properly managed by Kawan Leader Clara Mae I. Mirabel. Members of the MPDC of Calauag were also present in the event and assisted the team in the management of the garbage. 25 people benefited in this project wherein they were the fishermen who were always bothered by the garbage in the shoreline.
This clean-up drive project is not just an ordinary activity. With this event, we can overcome the difficulties in dealing with the garbage in shorelines. We should be responsible enough to take care of the marine creatures. Let us think not just for our own sake but for everyoneβs betterment. SAGIP DALAMPASIGAN PROJECT, success!
