Volunteered as advanced team
What inspired you to take up the project?
My motivation for volunteering in the 3rd Nachung Leadership Training was to give back and support younger students the way seniors once supported me. I wanted to challenge myself, grow as a leader, and learn how to take responsibility in real situations. Serving as an advanced team member for 14 days taught me patience, teamwork, and the importance of guiding others with care. It wasn’t just about helping, it was about growing into a better and more responsible person.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
Through this project, I learned the true meaning of responsibility and service. Being part of the advanced team for 14 days taught me how to manage my time, stay patient, and handle unexpected situations calmly. As an escort, I learned how important it is to look after others, communicate clearly, and work as a team. Most importantly, I discovered that leadership is not about giving orders, but about supporting and guiding others with care and understanding.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
I volunteered as part of the advanced team for the 3rd Nachung Leadership Training. I worked for 14 days, helping with preparations and supporting the overall coordination. I was assigned as an escort, responsible for looking after the participants, guiding them to different activities, and making sure everyone was present and safe. It was a meaningful experience where I learned teamwork, responsibility, and leadership while serving the younger students.
