Virtual Celebration of Independence Day
India is celebrating its 74th Independence Day today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the Indian flag from the ramparts of the historic Red Fort. This year, the celebrations are a little different due to the coronavirus pandemic. The grand celebrations were scaled down this year to adhere to the safety protocols to contain the spread of COVID-19.
So, keeping in view, students are advised not to participate in any celebration. So the students of KC Gurukul Public School, Udhampur send their wishes from home and their took pledge
"Today, on the eve of Independence day, I pay homage to the great leaders and
freedom fighters who gave their lives so that we could live in a free India. I also
express my gratitude to the brave soldiers of my country who protect us without
caring for their own lives. I take a pledge today that I will also contribute in
building an Atm Nirbhar Bharat . I will make my motherland become stronger
fighting the current pandemic with zeal, hardwork and faith. I will turn this
adversity into opportunity. I pledge to save, share and supplement the resources of
my country to build Atm Nirbhar Bharat!"
